FINANCE COUNCIL
Finance Council Plays Key Role in FHC Parish
The Finance Council oversees the fiscal responsibilities of the parish and produces the Annual Financial Report. It also works with the Pastor and Business Manager in preparing and approving the Annual Budget, overseeing and approving major capital expenditures as well as reviewing the operating results and providing important guidance in the financial management of the parish.
Every parish is mandated by Canon Law and Archdiocesan regulations to have a Finance Council, having an advisory and consultative role with the pastor. Members are drawn from the Parish Community and appointed by the Pastor, who uses his discretion when selecting the members.
The Finance Council meets regularly with specific agendas, having access to all the relevant financial information of the parish.
We thank all the members of this Council for the time and effort they devote to the parish. |
