WELCOME

We are a Catholic faith community located just north of the city of Chicago.

The word Catholic implies inclusiveness. Despite our differences, we are united in faith, hope and love. Our parish is essentially a group of modern day followers of Jesus, gathered in local community to love God and to serve others with skill, creativity and compassion. As Catholic Christians we are part of a tradition which has endured in good times and bad for twenty centuries.

Faith, Hope and…Carpenters • Putting Charity to work!

Our Project: With Rebuilding Together, we will help improve a nearby home and large yard.

When: Saturday, April 27th 8:00am – 2:00 pm
Where: Northbrook and Glencoe
Who: Parishioners & Friends (ages 14+)

This will be the seventeenth year Faith Hope and Carpenters has worked with Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading non-profit volunteer organization preserving and revitalizing homes and non-profit facilities serving the needs of low-income families, the elderly, and those with disabilities.

This year our two projects are scheduled for Saturday, April 27th from 8:00am until 2:00pm. Our primary project is in Northbrook and we will be helping to improve the exterior of a home and a very large yard. We will be clearing significant weeds and overgrowth, adding a fence, shrubs and flowers. No specific skills are required, but gardening and planting knowledge will be helpful. Lunch will be provided. Our second project will be to clean and organize a condominium in Glencoe that is owned by a woman who has a number of physical limitations.
